This page explains what slowcrown.com (the "Site", "we") collects, why, and what your rights are. The short version: very little, and nothing you don't choose to give us.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, browser type, referring page and time of each request. Logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics. With your consent, we use an analytics tool to understand which stations are read and which links are used. It's only loaded after you allow cookies in the notice at the bottom of the page.
- Email. The contact form opens your own email app; nothing is stored on the Site. If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to answer and follow up.
We don't ask you to create an account and we don't collect payment details. Anything you enter on a publisher's site after following an "Enter" link is governed by that publisher's privacy policy, not this one.
Why we collect it
To keep the Site running securely, to understand how it's used so we can improve it, and to answer your messages. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating the Site and, for analytics cookies, on your consent.
Affiliate links
When you follow an "Enter" link, the destination URL contains a tracking parameter that lets the publisher or its affiliate network attribute a sign-up to this Site. The network may set its own cookies for this purpose. We receive aggregated statistics, not your personal details.
Sharing
We share data only with the providers that host the Site and run our analytics, and only as far as needed for those services. We don't sell personal data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email hello@slowcrown.com.
Children
The Site isn't directed at children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We update the date at the top of this page whenever it changes.
